I should like to repeat what I stated recently in the Jeddah Economic Forum in Saudi Arabia: It won't be the religion but rather the world-view of some of its followers that shall be made current.

Jesus claimed He had the power to raise himself from the dead and His followers would be raised from the dead. That's a unique claim in the literature of religion.

Look at Islam in a rational manner and without demagoguery or emotion. It is the leading religion of the world with 1.5 billion followers.

If religion were true its followers would not try to bludgeon their young into an artificial conformity but would merely insist on their unbending quest for truth irrespective of artificial backgrounds or practical consequences.

We belong to the camp of peace. We believe in peace. We believe that our one God wishes us to live in peace and wishes peace upon us for these are His teachings to all the followers of the three great monotheistic religions the Children of Abraham.

Not just Christians and Jews but also Muslims Buddhists Hindus and the followers of many other religions believe in values like peace respect tolerance and dignity. These are values that bring people together and enable us to build responsible and solid communities.

Nothing is wrong with peace and love. It is all the more regrettable that so many of Christ's followers seem to disagree.

Authenticity is the alignment of head mouth heart and feet - thinking saying feeling and doing the same thing - consistently. This builds trust and followers love leaders they can trust.

Our country was thereby saved from the consequences of its distracting individualistic conception of democracy and its merely legal conception of nationality. It was because the followers of Jackson and Douglas did fight for it that the Union was preserved.

The leader is one who mobilizes others toward a goal shared by leaders and followers... Leaders followers and goals make up the three equally necessary supports for leadership.
