These days our senses are bombarded with aggression. We are constantly confronted with global images of unending escalating war and violence.

There are historic situations in which refusal to defend the inheritance of a civilization however imperfect against tyranny and aggression may result in consequences even worse than war.

The truth is often a terrible weapon of aggression. It is possible to lie and even to murder with the truth.
