Well I think any author or musician is anxious to have legitimate sales of their products partly so they're rewarded for their success partly so they can go on and do new things.
I give myself strength by staying away from any music.
The thing with me. I can't stick musicians. I've thought about this. I can't stand them and being stuck in a studio with them I think that's my strength I can hear what they can't.
I think that my past stands me in good stead in that it does have a certain strength for musicians.
I love the music of Lauryn Hill and Erykah Badu and more recently the music of Laura Marling. All these women share a strength and a wisdom in their voices and music that really makes me want to make music and sing.
We've worked very hard as a band and would like to think we've got this far on the strength of our music.
I have a pretty expanded view of what art is. I include pop music and even some sports.
Just like music sports elevates us to new levels of achievment.
The thing about sports movies is they can't help but feel epic - putting music to images etc.
My heart lies in music and acting however my inspiration comes from adrenaline rush I get from sports... and life.
