Even cooking at home the difference between my wife cooking and me cooking is major. When my wife cooks the kitchen looks like a disaster. When I cook it's completely clean and organized and it doesn't look like anyone has been cooking in there.

Most people if you live in a big city you see some form of schizophrenia every day and it's always in the form of someone homeless. 'Look at that guy - he's crazy. He looks dangerous.' Well he's on the streets because of mental illness. He probably had a job and a home.

One never reaches home but wherever friendly paths intersect the whole world looks like home for a time.

Music can be healing and with my history and my knowledge of both sides of what looks like a gigantic divide in the world I feel I can point a way forward to our common humanity again.

After all when the world looks to America they look to us because we are the most successful political and economic experiment in human history.
