I am in politics because of the conflict between good and evil and I believe that in the end good will triumph.

It's really a wonder that I haven't dropped all my ideals because they seem so absurd and impossible to carry out. Yet I keep them because in spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart.

I think a gentleman is someone who holds the comfort of other people above their own. The instinct to do that is inside every good man I believe. The rules about opening doors and buying dinner and all of that other 'gentleman' stuff is a chess game especially these days.

To assert in any case that a man must be absolutely cut off from society because he is absolutely evil amounts to saying that society is absolutely good and no-one in his right mind will believe this today.

Don't believe your friends when they ask you to be honest with them. All they really want is to be maintained in the good opinion they have of themselves.

I believe in Karma. If the good is sown the good is collected. When positive things are made that returns well.

Commitment is a big part of what I am and what I believe. How committed are you to winning? How committed are you to being a good friend? To being trustworthy? To being successful? How committed are you to being a good father a good teammate a good role model? There's that moment every morning when you look in the mirror: Are you committed or are you not?

I believe that every human mind feels pleasure in doing good to another.

I'm a true believer in karma. You get what you give whether it's bad or good.

I do believe we're all connected. I do believe in positive energy. I do believe in the power of prayer. I do believe in putting good out into the world. And I believe in taking care of each other.
