Freedom lies in being bold.

Today I choose life. Every morning when I wake up I can choose joy happiness negativity pain... To feel the freedom that comes from being able to continue to make mistakes and choices - today I choose to feel life not to deny my humanity but embrace it.

It is by the goodness of God that in our country we have those three unspeakably precious things: freedom of speech freedom of conscience and the prudence never to practice either of them.

Israel was not created in order to disappear - Israel will endure and flourish. It is the child of hope and the home of the brave. It can neither be broken by adversity nor demoralized by success. It carries the shield of democracy and it honors the sword of freedom.

The cost of freedom is always high but Americans have always paid it. And one path we shall never choose and that is the path of surrender or submission.

Freedom makes a huge requirement of every human being. With freedom comes responsibility. For the person who is unwilling to grow up the person who does not want to carry is own weight this is a frightening prospect.

Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves.

Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.

Our greatest happiness does not depend on the condition of life in which chance has placed us but is always the result of a good conscience good health occupation and freedom in all just pursuits.

All the great things are simple and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom justice honor duty mercy hope.
