I have maintained a passionate interest in education which leads me occasionally to make foolish and ill-considered remarks alleging that not everything is well in our schools.

Most everything I do revolves around tae kwon do. That said I like to be a typical girl and go shopping. I have three nieces and nephews that I like to hang out with. I'm also finishing my last semester at the University of Houston where I'm majoring in childhood education.

My mother was a dominant force in my life. She had a very specific idea about education which was: you should know everything about everything. It was quite simple. There was no exclusivity and there really was no judgment.

Every single major push in education has made it worse and right now it's really bad because everything we've done is de-humanizing education. It's destroying the possibility of the teacher and the student having a warm friendly intellectual relationship.
