All great enterprises have a pearl of faith at their core and this must be ours: that Americans are still a people born to liberty. That they retain the capacity for self-government. That addressed as free-born autonomous men and women of God-given dignity they will rise yet again to drive back a mortal enemy.

The most important American addition to the World Experience was the simple surprising fact of America. We have helped prepare mankind for all its later surprises.

But although all our knowledge begins with experience it does not follow that it arises from experience.

Experience has shown and a true philosophy will always show that a vast perhaps the larger portion of the truth arises from the seemingly irrelevant.

Experience comprises illusions lost rather than wisdom gained.

The wave of new productive enterprises would provide opportunities to remedy the unjust distribution of environmental hazards among economic classes and racial and ethnic communities.

The environmental crisis arises from a fundamental fault: our systems of production - in industry agriculture energy and transportation - essential as they are make people sick and die.

Yeah I think everybody has the crises of questioning themselves at some point or other in their lives. Is this where I should live? The job I should have? The girl I should be dating? Is this the friend I should have?

Courage is what preserves our liberty safety life and our homes and parents our country and children. Courage comprises all things.

Courage that grows from constitution often forsakes a man when he has occasion for it courage which arises from a sense of duty acts in a uniform manner.
