I don't think human beings learn anything without desperation. Desperation is a necessary ingredient to learning anything or creating anything. Period. If you ain't desperate at some point you ain't interesting.

What nourishes us at home and in school is what inspires us. When we get awareness and learn about the great potential that we all human beings have we are able to discover our leadership.

No institution can possibly survive if it needs geniuses or supermen to manage it. It must be organized in such a way as to be able to get along under a leadership composed of average human beings.

No part of the world can be truly understood without a knowledge of its garment of vegetation for this determines not only the nature of the animal inhabitants but also the occupations of the majority of human beings.

Very few beings really seek knowledge in this world. Mortal or immortal few really ASK. On the contrary they try to wring from the unknown the answers they have already shaped in their own minds.

When we go to the Bible we should keep in mind that the basic principles of the Bible are taught by God but written down by human beings deprived of modern day knowledge. So there is some fallibility in the writings of the Bible. But the basic principles are applicable to my life and I don't find any conflict among them.

The poor prey on one another because their lives offer no hope and communicate the tragic message to these human beings that they have no possibility to attain a decent standard of living.

The capacity for hope is the most significant fact of life. It provides human beings with a sense of destination and the energy to get started.

We would not be interested in human beings if we did not have the hope of someday meeting someone worse off than ourselves.
