When I was a new mom I used to think that life was going to be balanced and I strived for that. But life is crazy!

In a broken marriage it can be challenging and tough to get that work/life balance. I love performing but I also love being a mum and I hate having to choose between them.

Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness and the word happy would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness. It is far better take things as they come along with patience and equanimity.

We are led by lawyers who do not understand either technology or balance sheets.

'For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge' took a year to record that's why the playing on it might sound somewhat labored. 'Balance ' on the other hand was written and recorded in only four months so the whole process was quicker and more immediate.

It is remarkable how many misconceptions there are here about life in the developing world and I think that that knowledge gap has done a lot to contribute to the imbalance quite frankly.

But because it was able to balance that kind of humor with a sweet story and characters you really rooted for and also got across the girls' point of view I've heard nothing but great things from younger and older females as well.
