I am entirely certain that twenty years from now we will look back at education as it is practiced in most schools today and wonder that we could have tolerated anything so primitive.
Men have had every advantage of us in telling their own story. Education has been theirs in so much higher a degree the pen has been in their hands. I will not allow books to prove anything.
In true education anything that comes to our hand is as good as a book: the prank of a page- boy the blunder of a servant a bit of table talk - they are all part of the curriculum.
If I had learned education I would not have had time to learn anything else.
Some people will never learn anything for this reason because they understand everything too soon.
Education is the ability to listen to almost anything without losing your temper or your self-confidence.
I'm following my dreams and doing what I love as a designer. I did not want to be one of those kids with a famous last name that doesn't do anything. That is very unfulfilling to me and I'm very happy.
I knew I wanted to do something creative. I didn't think I'd have the luxury of doing something like that because I didn't know anyone who had pursued anything they really adored but I had dreams for singing or writing.
I was always a closet lover of acting. My mom was very practical. She never ever restricted our dreams always told us we could do or be anything. Then I said 'Maybe I want to be an actor'. And she said 'Maybe not that'.
Dreams really tell you about yourself more than anything else in this world could ever tell you.
