I think sometimes I guess you see records say you want to get there and use that as motivation. In a way it's kind of cool if there is a possibility to rewrite history and be up there with the greats of Olympic history.
I think its so cool that you can pick up the guitar and create something that didn't exist 5 minutes ago. You can write something that no ones ever heard before. You have music at your fingertips.
I think people appreciate a songwriter who shows different sides. The whole angst thing is cool but if that's all you've got it's just boring. Everything I write whether it's happy or sad has a sense of humor to it.
