Anxiety is the dizziness of freedom.

History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid.

Religious freedom opens a door for Americans that is closed to too many others around the world. But whether we walk through that door and what we do with our lives after we do is up to us.

Ultimately America's answer to the intolerant man is diversity the very diversity which our heritage of religious freedom has inspired.

Perhaps religious conscience upsets the designs of those who feel that the highest wisdom and authority comes from government. But from the beginning this nation trusted in God not man. Religious liberty is the first freedom in our Constitution.

Posterity: you will never know how much it has cost my generation to preserve your freedom. I hope you will make good use of it.

There are necessary evils. Money is an important thing in terms of representing freedom in our world. And now I have a daughter to think about. It's really the first time I've thought about the future and what it could be.

To say that any people are not fit for freedom is to make poverty their choice and to say they had rather be loaded with taxes than not.

Whenever men take the law into their own hands the loser is the law. And when the law loses freedom languishes.

If I am elected President of these United States I will work with all my energy and soul to restore that America to lift our eyes to a better future. That future is our destiny. That future is out there. It is waiting for us. Our children deserve it our nation depends upon it the peace and freedom of the world require it.
