I wish your increase in holiness number love religion and righteousness and wait you and cease to contend with these men that are gone from us for there is nothing that shall convince them but judgment.

The constitution vests the power of declaring war in Congress therefore no offensive expedition of importance can be undertaken until after they shall have deliberated upon the subject and authorized such a measure.

I not events have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day today and I'm going to be happy in it.

You shall always find what you created in your mind for instance a benevolent God or an evil Devil. Between them are countless facets. Therefore concentrate on the depth of your consciousness and on what you consider to be positive and good.

Until politics are a branch of science we shall do well to regard political and social reforms as experiments rather than short-cuts to the millennium.

Of course there are regrets. I shall regret always that I found my own authentic voice in politics. I was too conservative too conventional. Too safe too often. Too defensive. Too reactive. Later too often on the back foot.

I do not know much about politics but I am trying to do the best I can with this administration until the time shall come for me to turn it over to somebody else.
