I say the law should be blind to race gender and sexual orientation just as it claims to be blind to wealth and power. There should be no specially protected groups of any kind except for children the severely disabled and the elderly whose physical frailty demands society's care.

To give aid to every poor man is far beyond the reach and power of every man. Care of the poor is incumbent on society as a whole.

Power is not an institution and not a structure neither is it a certain strength we are endowed with it is the name that one attributes to a complex strategical situation in a particular society.

I think it's child abuse to have someone in the public eye too young. Society basically values wealth and fame and power at the cost of well-being. In the case of a child it's at the cost of someone's natural development. It's already hard enough to develop.

Militant feminists are pro-choice because it's their ultimate avenue of power over men. And believe me to them it is a question of power. It is their attempt to impose their will on the rest of society particularly on men.

It is in war that the State really comes into its own: swelling in power in number in pride in absolute dominion over the economy and the society.

Mystical references to society and its programs to help may warm the hearts of the gullible but what it really means is putting more power in the hands of bureaucrats.

If those in charge of our society - politicians corporate executives and owners of press and television - can dominate our ideas they will be secure in their power. They will not need soldiers patrolling the streets. We will control ourselves.

Because power corrupts society's demands for moral authority and character increase as the importance of the position increases.

The real problem is that the way that power is given out in our society pits us against each other.
