I really felt like I finally made it. Having your first fake pregnancy rumor. It was really awesome. I feel like it's part of what happens in this business but that's a real one. That's a cool one to get.

I'm finding as I get older that I'm not much of a believer in redemption. I mean I believe in redemption in real life - redemption does happen and it's cool when it does - but I find myself getting leery of my desire for it in stories (especially my own).

I remember being on film sets when I was younger and only men got to do the cool action movies. So I thought 'Maybe I'll get to produce one day and get to do cool stuff too ' which is what happened when we did 'Charlie's Angels.' Starting my production company was a big turning point for me.

Music is for people. The word 'pop' is simply short for popular. It means that people like it. I'm just a normal jerk who happens to make music. As long as my brain and fingers work I'm cool.

If at any moment of the day I ever think I'm remotely cool at all which is hardly ever I have two daughters who make sure that never happens.

It's cool just because I've had this dream of changing the sport of swimming and it's finally happening.

What's happened with society is that we have created these devices computers which already can register and process huge amounts of information which is a significant fraction of the amount of information that human beings themselves as a species can process.

Something else has happened with computers.

We're going to be able to ask our computers to monitor things for us and when certain conditions happen are triggered the computers will take certain actions and inform us after the fact.

Imagine if every Thursday your shoes exploded if you tied them the usual way. This happens to us all the time with computers and nobody thinks of complaining.
