Concentrated power has always been the enemy of liberty.

Ironically women who acquire power are more likely to be criticized for it than are the men who have always had it.

Whoever is new to power is always harsh.

When you're growing up it's always nice to have someone you can relate and look up to. I'm proud of how I conduct my business and how I have accomplished all that I have accomplished and hope that I can be a positive influence on not only the Mexican community but also young boxers and people all around the world.

There are so many little girls who follow me and look up to me. I'm their role model so I have to make sure I'm always being professional and not putting any swear words out there - just really putting positive things out there on the Internet.

I try to keep it light and positive most of the time whereas earlier on I didn't always do that.

My stance has always been that there's no place in our sport for drug users. I've always said it's a ban for life if you come up positive. I stand by that.
