The role of the musician is to go from concept to full execution. Put another way it's to go from understanding the content of something to really learning how to communicate it and make sure it's well-received and lives in somebody else.

Making a wrong decision is understandable. Refusing to search continually for learning is not.

Spending time at the Federal Reserve was a good learning opportunity for me. It helped me to understand economic philosophies and polices that I had not previously known about.
