Some of my high school teachers did remind me that I had an excellent imagination when it came to making up excuses.

I've studied a technique called the Sanford Miesner technique that teaches you how to focus. It's mainly about daydreaming. And the technique's really about imaginary circumstances. Using your imagination to sort of daydream about stuff. It makes you emotional in a scene.

I never did very well in math - I could never seem to persuade the teacher that I hadn't meant my answers literally.

I am in the Master of Professional Writing program teaching Humor Writing Literary and Dramatic.

You are not angry with people when you laugh at them. Humor teaches tolerance.

Humor must not professedly teach and it must not professedly preach but it must do both if it would live forever.

I hope we don't get to the point where we have to have the cat stop chasing the mouse to teach him glassblowing and basket weaving.

I hope to continue writing. I hope to continue teaching.

I hope that I serve by being a teacher.

Teachers have a chance to mold someone inspire them. I hope all teachers realize that.
