The principle goal of education in the schools should be creating men and women who are capable of doing new things not simply repeating what other generations have done.

Education is the investment our generation makes in the future.

To penetrate and dissipate these clouds of darkness the general mind must be strengthened by education.

Education is simply the soul of a society as it passes from one generation to another.

Our fathers had their dreams we have ours the generation that follows will have its own. Without dreams and phantoms man cannot exist.

Our theme for this year's festivities Dreams and Challenges of Asian Pacific Americans speaks to the many generations of Asian Pacific Americans who worked hard to overcome economic hardship racism and other barriers in their pursuit of the American dream.

Perhaps all writers walk such a line. In general - as we all do in our dreams - I believe I put something of myself into all the characters in my novels male as well as female.

Looking back 25 years later what I may say is that the facts have been far better than the dreams. In the long course of cell life on this earth it remained for our age for our generation to receive the full ownership of our inheritance.
