The Women's Sports Foundation holds a unique position in developing opportunities for girls and women of all abilities to be active whether recreationally or competitively and I'm excited to help lead the organization to impact even more lives. It is an honor to continue to build the legacy created by Billie Jean King and all of our leaders.

It is incredible how far women have come and women in sports have come.

We knew it was going to be the biggest event scheduled in the history of women's sports but we didn't ever fathom we would be playing before sold-out stadiums all over the country.

Julie Mia and I just met for a couple days doing some work but really under the guise of having fun. We do events like the Women's Sports Foundation Dinner where we get to not only do a good thing for the community but we get to hang out with one another again.

I'm glad you're doing this story on us and not on the WNBA. We're so much prettier than all the other women in sports.

I love that men like to look at women that they love sports that they need to know the inner workings of mechanical objects. I love the whole makeup of men - that they never mature and are always just boys.

As a result of Title IX and a new generation of parents who want their daughters to have the opportunities they never had women's sports have arrived.

Why should sports men and women get punished harsher than people in the normal world?

I don't think there's anything that is a greater area of discrimination against women today than the fact that nowhere in the world is there a female role model in team sports that more than half of a general audience would recognize.

We live in a world where sports have the potential to bridge the gap between racism sexism and discrimination. The 2012 Olympic Games was a great start but hopefully what these games taught us is that if women are given an opportunity on an equal playing field the possibilities for women are endless.
