My greatest strength as a consultant is to be ignorant and ask a few questions.

Everybody sort of questioned why we get married on New Year's Day and of course the avid sports fans wouldn't come because they had to watch the Rose Bowl or whatever that is on that day.

I don't know why people question the academic training of an athlete. Fifty percent of the doctors in this country graduated in the bottom half of their classes.

I think top scientists need to be compensated at a different scale in society. Somebody with experience will tell you that true scientists are not motivated by money - they are motivated by the quest itself. That is true. But I think an additional recognition will not hurt.

Once boys' and men's challenges are clear the question 'why now' quickly becomes 'why didn't we see this sooner?' The answer? Virtually every society that survived did so by socializing its sons to be disposable.

Society questions the police and their methods and the police say Do you want the criminals off the street or not?

Mainstream cinema raises questions only to immediately provide an answer to them so they can send the spectator home reassured. If we actually had those answers then society would appear very different from what it is.

If you want a free society teach your children what oppression tastes like. Tell them how many miracles it takes to get from here to there. Above all encourage them to ask questions. Teach them to think for themselves.
