Hell there are no rules here - we're trying to accomplish something.

Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.

I'm trying to get the record that I made at my birthday party last year trying to get that out and the lawyers are diddling around with it and it probably won't be out until next year. I don't know.

A lot of the fun lies in trying to penetrate the mystery and this is best done by saying over the lines to yourself again and again till they pass through the stage of sounding like nonsense and finally return to a full sense that had at first escaped notice.

All that really matters is I have two beautiful kids and I'm trying to be the best dad I can possibly be and that's the most important thing of all.

When one is trying to do something beyond his known powers it is useless to seek the approval of friends. Friends are at their best in moments of defeat.

As long as you as an individual... can convince yourself that in order to move forward as best you can you have to be optimistic you can be described as 'one of the faithful ' one of those people who can say 'Well look something's going to happen! Let's just keep trying. Let's not give up.

I have found it advisable not to give too much heed to what people say when I am trying to accomplish something of consequence. Invariably they proclaim it can't be done. I deem that the very best time to make the effort.
