The future is today.
In fact I believe the first companies that make an effort to develop an authentic transparent and meaningful social contract with their fans and customers will turn out to be the ones that are the most successful in the future. While brands that refuse to make the effort will lose stature and customer loyalty.
As more people use social media to tell the story of the future the wants and needs of more people will be reflected.
My philosophy is to take one day at a time. I don't worry about the future. Tomorrow is even out of sight for me.
The future is built on brains not prom court as most people can tell you after attending their high school reunion. But you'd never know it by talking to kids or listening to the messages they get from the culture and even from their schools.
You have to like the present if not your life becomes secondhand if you think it was better before. Or that it will be better in the future.
Why not invest in the future of music instead of building fortresses to preserve its past?
Your past is not your potential. In any hour you can choose to liberate the future.
The best preparation for the future is the present well seen to and the last duty done.
It took the madmen of yesterday for us to be able to act with extreme clarity today. I want to be one of those madmen. We must dare to invent the future.
