I think everybody has their own way of looking at their lives as some kind of pilgrimage. Some people will see their role as a pilgrim in terms of setting up a fine family or establishing a business inheritance. Everyone's got their own definition.

Business is war. I go out there I want to kill the competitors. I want to make their lives miserable. I want to steal their market share. I want them to fear me and I want everyone on my team thinking we're going to win.

I'm trying to build a strong business. I want to create new stars new shows and new products for my audience and create a legacy that outlives me. There are so many other ways I want to reach women besides doing a talk show.

I also believe that government has no business telling us how we should live our lives. I think our lifestyle choices should be left up to us. What we do in our private lives is none of the government's business. That position rules out the Republican Party for me.

Do more than is required. What is the distance between someone who achieves their goals consistently and those who spend their lives and careers merely following? The extra mile.

Love is the best thing in the world and the thing that lives the longest.

To write the lives of the great in separating them from their works necessarily ends by above all stressing their pettiness because it is in their work that they have put the best of themselves.

I've given it my all. I've done my best. Now I'm ready with my family to begin the next phase of our lives.

I think the best thing I can do is to be a distraction. A husband lives and breathes his work all day long. If he comes home to more table thumping how can the poor man ever relax?

There is only one thing for us to do and that is to do our level best right where we are every day of our lives To use our best judgment and then to trust the rest to that Power which holds the forces of the universe in his hands.
