When you're going through something whether it's a wonderful thing like having a child or a sad thing like losing somebody you often feel like 'Oh my God I'm so overwhelmed I'm dealing with this huge thing on my own.' In fact poetry's a nice reminder that no everybody goes through it. These are universal experiences.
Poetry is the opening and closing of a door leaving those who look through to guess about what is seen during the moment.
Peace should provide security. It should be durable. I'm ready to go far in making painful concessions. But there is one thing I will never make any concessions on and that's the security of the Israeli citizens and the very existence of the state of Israel. The Palestinians are losing time.
We are a people that have always celebrated other people's success so long as we always had the opportunity to meet that success ourselves. That is the American nature. Ultimately if you can say that I'm a bad owner and we're winning championships I can live with that. But if we're not making the playoffs and we're spending and losing money then I have to look in the mirror and say maybe I'm not taking the necessary steps to doing what it takes to run an organization.
When you have lost people like I lost my birth mom at a young age and you remember the whole process of losing her you want to grab on to something that makes you whole.
