A professional soldier understands that war means killing people war means maiming people war means families left without fathers and mothers.

Even if I accepted that Jesus - like almost every other prophet on record - was born of a virgin I cannot think that this proves the divinity of his father or the truth of his teachings. The same would be true if I accepted that he had been resurrected.

But the hour cometh and now is when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

I am the Way the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

He is still my father. He is still a person I know I could trust and he would never do anything against me. Once you're at the top there are not many people like that. People always want something from you.

Young people know how important it is for dads to be involved in their lives. As I travel the country and talk with students some of them tell me that their lives would be totally different if their father was around.

At least the Pilgrim Fathers used to shoot Indians: the Pilgrim Children merely punch time clocks.

My father wasn't around when I was a kid and I used to always say 'Why me? Why don't I have a father? Why isn't he around? Why did he leave my mother?' But as I got older I looked deeper and thought 'I don't know what my father was going through but if he was around all the time would I be who I am today?'

I remember the time I was kidnapped and they sent a piece of my finger to my father. He said he wanted more proof.

Time is the father of truth its mother is our mind.
