Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy.

Well I think first of all there was a failure to have real clear information at our disposal. There was a real lack of situational awareness. We didn't have the capabilities on the ground to give us real-time accurate assessments of the physical condition of the city.

I find writing very difficult. It's hard and it hurts sometimes and it's scary because of the fear of failure and the very unpleasant feeling that you may have reached the limit of your abilities.

Natural abilities are like natural plants that need pruning by study and studies themselves do give forth directions too much at large except they be bounded in by experience.

I went to school for special education. I always assumed when I had the opportunity I would love to try and help kids with disabilities.

Education and democracy have the same goal: the fullest possible development of human capabilities.

Education is not the piling on of learning information data facts skills or abilities - that's training or instruction - but is rather making visible what is hidden as a seed.

People with disabilities have abilities too and that is what this course is all about - making sure those abilities blossom and shine so that all the dreams you have can come true.

Also note that invariably when we design something that can be used by those with disabilities we often make it better for everyone.

Before I begin talking about the threats we face the vulnerabilities that we have and frankly the courage of the men and women in uniform that stand in harm's way on behalf of a very grateful Nation let me first honor the sacrifices of September 11.
