The British political system and the whole clapped out Westminster architecture and the language that we use about politics it's completely unsustainable. You either decide to be part of that transition to do something different. Or you cling to old certainties.

I loved logic math computer programming. I loved systems and logic approaches. And so I just figured architecture is this perfect combination.

As a system of philosophy it is not like the Tower of Babel so daring its high aim as to seek a shelter against God's anger but it is like a pyramid poised on its apex.

I understand Tea Partyers' anger with the system but they are in way over their heads and often racially motivated and I can't be part of that.

It isn't enough just to scream at the Occupy Wall Street demonstrations. We need our political system to start reflect this anger back into 'How do we fix it? How do we get the economy going again?'

Every time you get angry you poison your own system.

Of all the planets apart from Earth in our solar system Mars is the most hospitable. Yeah. Right. Better keep my visit short. And yet despite the discomfort the danger I love it here. I love coming back for these imaginary vacations. The sights are amazing.
