The music industry is a strange combination of having real and intangible assets: pop bands are brand names in themselves and at a given stage in their careers their name alone can practically gaurantee hit records.
You can't walk alone. Many have given the illusion but none have really walked alone. Man is not made that way. Each man is bedded in his people their history their culture and their values.

I think the sport of wrestling which I became involved with at the age of 14... I competed until I was 34 kind of old for a contact sport. I coached the sport until I was 47. I think the discipline of wrestling has given me the discipline I have to write.

Old age believe me is a good and pleasant thing. It is true you are gently shouldered off the stage but then you are given such a comfortable front stall as spectator.
