It is an unfortunate fact that we can secure peace only by preparing for war.
Unfortunately our history has abundant examples of patriotism being used to hurt those who express views in disagreement with that of the majority.
Unfortunately religion like patriotism is easy to misuse for political purposes.
Unfortunately after Sept. 11 there was an outburst in America of intense suffering and patriotism and the Bush administration was very shrewd and effective in painting anyone who disagreed with the policies as unpatriotic or even traitorous.
I think it's a mistake where rap music is these days. It doesn't seem to be able to look out of the ghetto and that's ultimately unfortunate because it defines our limitations.
Unfortunately 'chick flick' has become a term to describe most movies that I don't even like. They're these movies that yes have women in them but they really don't reflect who women are and there's something kind of silly or shallow or gossipy about them.
Unfortunately overall movies are a conglomerate. People buy and sell people in this business which can get really ugly.
Besides the fact that I make movies there's nothing interesting about my life at all unfortunately.
I really unfortunately don't have tons of hilarious Sundance stories because really I am not the biggest fan of hanging out but the reason why is because I never go see other people's movies and I think that's the way to do it.
Now if you are like me - if you are like practically anybody in America - then you probably hold some negative opinions about the French based upon movies rumors recent headlines unfortunate run-ins with Parisian waiters or... you know... all that unpleasantness surrounding the Vichy regime.
