I have many times asked myself whether there can be more potent advocates of peace upon earth through the years to come than this massed multitude of silent witnesses to the desolation of war.
He would see civilization in danger of perishing under the oppression of a gigantic paradox: he would see multitudes of people starving in the midst of plenty and nations preparing for war although pledged to peace.
In a multi-racial society trust understanding and tolerance are the cornerstones of peace and order.
The number of stressors has multiplied exponentially: traffic money success work/life balance the economy the environment parenting family conflict relationships disease. As the nature of human life has become far more complicated our ancient stress response hasn't been able to keep up.
Also because people like to multitask in a way if you've got a bit of music on in the background and the lyrical content is making you want to listen to it then that would probably put you off the texting you wanted to do. I'd love to act more. I've had to turn down multiple movies because I was on tour but it's encouraging to know that someday there might be the right role the right timing. And that person has multiple cell phones and gets them new every month with new minutes.
Money again has often been a cause of the delusion of the multitudes. Sober nations have all at once become desperate gamblers and risked almost their existence upon the turn of a piece of paper.
It would be great to do another television show that was a multi-camera because the hours are so wonderful and you can be a good mom at the same time. The problem is there aren't a lot of multi-camera shows that I personally like. My aesthetic is more geared toward single-camera shows.
