Part of filmmaking is always a guessing game and part of it is always a game of trust.
A lot of film directors are quite scared of actors. They are a bit of a nightmare sometimes but I like them. It looks like cunning but you try to get extra things from them all the time by stealth by making them feel confident so they trust you and you can push a bit.
If we put our trust in the common sense of common men and 'with malice toward none and charity for all' go forward on the great adventure of making political economic and social democracy a practical reality we shall not fail.
Air travel survived decades of terrorism including attacks which resulted in the deaths of everyone on the plane. It survived 9/11. It'll survive the next successful attack. The only real worry is that we'll scare ourselves into making air travel so onerous that we won't fly anymore.
