My father wasn't around when I was a kid and I used to always say 'Why me? Why don't I have a father? Why isn't he around? Why did he leave my mother?' But as I got older I looked deeper and thought 'I don't know what my father was going through but if he was around all the time would I be who I am today?'

The shock of any trauma I think changes your life. It's more acute in the beginning and after a little time you settle back to what you were. However it leaves an indelible mark on your psyche.

To love is so startling it leaves little time for anything else.

No man goes before his time - unless the boss leaves early.

One does not leave a convivial party before closing time.

That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.

You can always improve on something the technology is different today but I would leave it well alone. If there was something that was incomplete that might be interesting... because I do that on my website.

Don't leave hold of your common sense. Think about what you're doing and how the technology can enhance it. Don't think about technology first.

These days the technology can solve our problems and then some. Solutions may not only erase physical or mental deficits but leave patients better off than "able-bodied" folks. The person who has a disability today may have a superability tomorrow.

I'm a mum so my wardrobe consists of sweaters and jeans. As long as I don't leave the house forgetting my jeans I count that as a fashion success.
