Everyone always asks me 'Do you want to be famous... ' I never really thought about becoming famous. I just want to work to be able to put out inspiring and good film and TV.

I was a dancer and it's not really cool for a boy to dance so it was inspiring to see a movie like 'Footloose' where a guy is dancing masculine and had a proper reason behind it. It made me feel cool and when these kids would make fun of me I'd be like 'Oh didn't you see 'Footloose ' man?'

Under Barack Obama the only 'Change' is that 'Hope' has been hard to find. Now millions of Americans are insecure about their future. But instead of inspiring us by reminding us of what makes us special he divides us against each other. He tells Americans they're worse off because others are better off. That people got rich by making others poor.

I got to work with one of my heroes Johnny Depp and to see how he goes about business which was really inspiring for me at this stage in my career.

I think we all have blocks between us and the best version of ourselves whether it's shyness insecurity anxiety whether it's a physical block and the story of a person overcoming that block to their best self. It's truly inspiring because I think all of us are engaged in that every day.

I like to find the beauty in the ugly. When I'm in a thrift store I gravitate toward pieces I know I'll wear a ton and insane pieces that I'm sure most people would consider gross. But I find them inspiring. Our van is currently stocked with some of my random findings from this tour. Maybe I'll call my aesthetic 'van fashion.'

What influenced me was Tori Amos who was unapologetic about expressing anger through music and Sinead O'Connor. Those two in particular were really moving for me and very inspiring before I wrote 'Jagged Little Pill.'

The travel the amazing work I have had the chance to do the meetings with different people are all very inspiring and give me lots of positive energy.

I really would love to do a piece like Julia Roberts or Charlize Theron in 'Erin Brockovich' or 'North Country.' They were both so amazing and so inspiring. I would love to touch someone in the way their performances touched me.
