I'm a believer. I don't go to church. I don't belong to any particular religion but I do believe in God. I couldn't write what I write about and be creative without a certain form of belief.

And I have the support of the writers: I have a great relationship with the creative team and they have a good hold of my character and my personality and they come up with some great stuff and I'm forever trying to change it up keep it fresh.

Creatively I thought we were still viable and could do more records. But our working relationship just wasn't happening at all and our chemistry as people broke down because of that.

Most people have a passive relationship with music and clothes with culture. But music was my first contact with anything creative. Music is it as far as I'm concerned.

The relationship between the public and the artist is complex and difficult to explain. There is a fine line between using this critical energy creatively and pandering to it.

Before I was really passive all I cared about was being in love with my boyfriend. I didn't have any creative power nothing. I don't know that person any more.

Kind words are a creative force a power that concurs in the building up of all that is good and energy that showers blessings upon the world.

Odd how the creative power at once brings the whole universe to order.

Instead of yelling and spanking which don't work anyway I believe in finding creative ways to keep their attention - turning things into a game for instance. And when they do something good positive reinforcement and praise.

Your best creative assets do not occur unless you do a mental shift. You have to be in a positive frame of mind because inspiration is fleeting. I walk to work for inspiration and to clear my mind.
