The Constitution guarantees us our rights to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That's all. It doesn't guarantee our rights to charity.

Great indebtedness does not make men grateful but vengeful and if a little charity is not forgotten it turns into a gnawing worm.

Charity. To love human beings in so far as they are nothing. That is to love them as God does.
