Caring for but never trying to own may be a further way to define friendship.

Not caring more about what other people think than what you think. That's freedom.

What's powerful about a love scene is not seeing the act. It's seeing the passion the need the desire the caring the fear.

During the periods in my marriage when I chose to stay home with my kids rather than work as an attorney it caused me no end of anxiety. Despite the fact that I knew I was contributing to our family by caring for our children I still felt that my worth was less because I wasn't earning.

Every child should have a caring adult in their lives. And that's not always a biological parent or family member. It may be a friend or neighbor. Often times it is a teacher.

Happiness is having a large loving caring close-knit family in another city.

But while mum and dad were incredibly caring it was also a very chaotic household where everyone fought about everything. So I know what it's like to internalize all that chaos.

From caring comes courage.

When I look at President Obama I see a leader with a cool head a caring heart and an open mind a president who has demonstrated through his demeanor and through his deeds that he is uniquely qualified to heal our divisions rebuild our nation and lead us to a brighter future together.

Never believe that a few caring people can't change the world. For indeed that's all who ever have.
