Design is a funny word. Some people think design means how it looks. But of course if you dig deeper it's really how it works.
Everyone designs who devises courses of action aimed at changing existing situations into preferred ones.
If you wish to make a man look noble your best course is to kill him. What superiority he may have inherited from his race what superiority nature may have personally gifted him with comes out in death.
Of course we avoid death. To know something is inevitable is one thing. To accept to truly feel it... that's different.
I believe in the institution of marriage. Of course being a Mormon we believe in eternity rather than just till death do us part. If you really try hard if you make it work it's blissful. But I also know a marriage that isn't working can be painful.
I was never afraid of failure after that because I think coming that close to death you get kissed. With the years the actual experience of course fades but the flavor of it doesn't. I just had a real sense of what choice do I have but to live fully?
