My definition of success is to live your life in a way that causes you to feel a ton of pleasure and very little pain - and because of your lifestyle have the people around you feel a lot more pleasure than they do pain.
I really haven't had that exciting of a life. There are a lot of things I wish I would have done instead of just sitting around and complaining about having a boring life. So I pretty much like to make it up. I'd rather tell a story about somebody else.
True wisdom comes to each of us when we realize how little we understand about life ourselves and the world around us.
Make it a habit to tell people thank you. To express your appreciation sincerely and without the expectation of anything in return. Truly appreciate those around you and you'll soon find many others around you. Truly appreciate life and you'll find that you have more of it.
It's the game of life. Do I win or do I lose? One day they're gonna shut the game down. I gotta have as much fun and go around the board as many times as I can before it's my turn to leave.

Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first.
We should not blur the lines between legal and illegal immigrants. Millions of people around the world have gone through the process to come here legally and they followed the rules that required them to pay a fee learn English and learn about American history and government.
Each day each one of us chooses not to do many things that would be legal but offensive to those around us.
One of the things I've always liked about my husband is he's very good at lots of stuff. He was an English teacher when I met him. He wrote poetry and played the guitar. As time went on he decided to go into economics so he's very analytical and mathematical in addition to his artsy side.
