Writing a song is much like being an author. Yes we all have tools to write (everyone has a brain I hope!) but that doesn't all of a sudden make us best selling authors.

We love a good hyped sound but when it starts to sound insincere that's when I lose interest. I hope that our music even if it sounds polished doesn't sound insincere.

In live action movies you just hope that everything works. Because the actor may had a bad morning and doesn't play good or accidents happen continuously. Many things contradict what you are trying to say. But in cartoons nothing contradict what you want to say.

It doesn't matter that the way of life shown by Hollywood was phony. It helped you hope.
