While the technology revolution has yet to reach far into the households of those in developing countries this is certainly another area where more developed countries can assist those in the less developed world.
Today 80 percent of all the oil that comes out of the Gulf is from 1 000 feet or more and today almost a third of it is more than 5 000 feet below the surface. What hasn't happened is the safety and the ability to respond to a negative event such as this blowout has been far outrun by the technology of drilling itself. We need to close that gap.
And like I say I think we've got other cases other than Iraq. I do not think the problem of global proliferation of weapons technology of mass destruction is going to go away and that's why I think it is an urgent issue.
Regardless what technology is I like analog too.
I've gone to China bought a manufacturing company and moved it to America. Now China wants to buy back some of that new technology from me. That's a great story for America.
Technology without hatred can be a blessing. Technology with hatred is always a disaster.

Nevertheless the number of farmers small as well as large who are adopting the new seeds and new technology is increasing very rapidly and the increase in numbers during the past three years has been phenomenal.
