We belong to the camp of peace. We believe in peace. We believe that our one God wishes us to live in peace and wishes peace upon us for these are His teachings to all the followers of the three great monotheistic religions the Children of Abraham.

When I look back on my childhood I think of that short time in Beirut. I know that seeing the city collapse around me forced me to grasp something many people miss: the fragility of peace.

I don't think there's anything more important than making peace before it's too late. And it almost always falls to the child to try to move toward the parent.

All of us deserve a greater peace of mind knowing that our children are better protected wherever they are.

Are some women and children going to die? Yeah. But it's doing the right thing. You got money you sit around talking about peace. People who don't have money need some help.

If there's no inner peace people can't give it to you. The husband can't give it to you. Your children can't give it to you. You have to give it to you.

We will not learn how to live together in peace by killing each other's children.

War may sometimes be a necessary evil. But no matter how necessary it is always an evil never a good. We will not learn how to live together in peace by killing each other's children.

I prefer peace. But if trouble must come let it come in my time so that my children can live in peace.

If we are to teach real peace in this world and if we are to carry on a real war against war we shall have to begin with the children.
