The more you travel the better you get at it. It sounds silly but with experience you learn how to pack the right way. I remember one of my first trips abroad travelling around Europe by rail fresh out of high school. I brought all these books with me and a paint set. I really had too much stuff so I've learnt to be more economical.
At the moment I'm doing this space movie so I'm obsessed with physics and space travel. I know three months down the line it's gone. Then I'll be able to superficially say stuff about space.
I photographed rocks and trees and tide pools and nudes and all that stuff for years and years. Until 20 years ago when I found that I could do it in the studio and never have to travel.
I was always very determined and ambitious and I knew I would do something that would let me travel and stuff but I didn't know really know what I would do to get there.
I hate to travel with stuff.
The thing about Hemingway that people forget is that all the stuff he did was at a time where people weren't traveling that much. At 19 he travels to Italy. He goes to the Spanish Civil War. He goes to China he goes to Africa so at that time to travel that much is really incredible.
When I write stuff and I help cast it I turn away good people all the time. I may turn them down because this one's too tall and that one doesn't have a high enough voice or this one looks to old to match up with that one - there's a billion reasons not to hire somebody.
If you start using a medication in a person with autism you should see an obvious improvement in behavior in a short period of time. If you do not see an obvious improvement they probably should not be taking the stuff. It is that simple.
And I think it's that time. And I think if you just step aside and Mr. Romney can kind of take over. You can maybe still use a plane. Though maybe a smaller one. Not that big gas guzzler you are going around to colleges and talking about student loans and stuff like that.
I love going to Africa and stuff. I love going anywhere really but I've been to Africa a bunch of times and it's just a beautiful place that needs help obviously but helping people that are really thankful is really easy to do. And the people out there always seem so thankful.
