When you're walking down the street or you're at a restaurant someone catches your eye because they have their own look. It goes way beyond what they're wearing - into their mannerisms the way they smile or just the way they hold themselves.

'The Taxi Ride ' from my second album is one people want to hear a lot. I'm consciously trying to walk on the sunny side of the street to really lift myself into a place of greater positivity and that's a sad song.

And I remember going to the record studio and there was a park across the street and I'd see all the children playing and I would cry because it would make me sad that I would have to work instead.

I will never say never but I will say never to doing the more typical romantic comedies. You know unless I'm getting audited and I'm on the street and I desperately need some dough and that's the only thing that I'm getting.

I understand the Second Amendment. I respect the Second Amendment. I think we need to use common sense tools to keep the American people safe to keep our streets safe.

Every president needs to deal with the permanent government of the country and the permanent government of the country is Wall Street oligarchs and corporate plutocrats and the questions becomes what is the relationship between that president and Wall Street.

Revolutionaries do not make revolutions. The revolutionaries are those who know when power is lying in the street and then they can pick it up.

If those in charge of our society - politicians corporate executives and owners of press and television - can dominate our ideas they will be secure in their power. They will not need soldiers patrolling the streets. We will control ourselves.

I really believe that's one of the many reasons that God had put me right in the middle of the Backstreet Boys. There are so many stars today that don't realize the impact they have on young people. Being a superstar is great as long as you can be a positive role model.

Music is pretty much the lifestyle not the music itself. The lifestyle really pulled me off the street. Made me want to do something organized and positive.
