What has happened to the good old-fashioned travel agent? I want to go to a really posh travel agent and have them organise everything for me. I don't want to do things on the Internet.

I will continue to work as hard as I can to make this organization proud. Every time I step on the field I will give everything I have and I will leave everything I have on the field every single Sunday.

I take mentoring very seriously and I am on the board of an organization called Girls Write Now where we match teen girls and writing mentors because it changes their lives.

I think technology has changed America not any one organization. Technology is taking the power away from the few. There'll be a lot more choices and good people who are doing serious stuff will survive and there'll be a lot more voices and that is very healthy.

The only protection as a historian is to institute a process of research and writing that minimizes the possibility of error. And that I have tried to do aided by modern technology which enables me having long since moved beyond longhand to use a computer for both organizing and taking notes.

We've complemented that with a second office to think about how we need to prepare ourselves for that period 10 or 15 or 20 years from now by way of investment in our technology our organization and our people.

Technology has made it much easier to make and manipulate music. Studio-driven machine-driven music does not always transcend into being a good live act. Many current acts are great live but many cannot cut it live. The music is not organic.

Take therefore what modern technology is capable of: the power of our moral sense allied to the power of communications and our ability to organize internationally.That in my view gives us the first opportunity as a community to fundamentally change the world.

But some great records are are being made with today's technology and there are still great artists among us. Likewise there are artists today who are so reliant on modern technology they wouldn't have emerged when recording was more organic.

I got to get the right people in the right job. Because a lot of costs can be taken out in the context of your administration without the legislature.For example using technology to do more with less. Using technology to fight fraud. Reorganizing and streamlining can be done within the context of the administration.
