America has the best doctors the best nurses the best hospitals the best medical technology the best medical breakthrough medicines in the world. There is absolutely no reason we should not have in this country the best health care in the world.

For the last 3 years we have celebrated National Nurses Week. Beginning on May 6 we will once again have the opportunity to truly commend the nursing community for their contributions to our national health delivery system.

I think all Americans believe in human rights. And health is an often overlooked aspect of basic human rights. And it's one that's easily corrected. The reason I say that is that many of the diseases that we treat around the world I knew when I was a child. My mother was a registered nurse. And they no longer exist in our country.

God appoints our graces to be nurses to other men's weaknesses.

In our short walks we passed the kitchen where food was prepared for the nurses and doctors. There we got glimpses of melons and grapes and all kinds of fruits beautiful white bread and nice meats and the hungry feeling would be increased tenfold.

I'm very proud of my Nigerian heritage. I wasn't fortunate enough to be raised in a heavy Nigerian environment because my parents were always working. My father was with D.C. Cabs and my mother worked in fast food and was a nurse.

I remember once I read a book on mental illness and there was a nurse that had gotten sick. Do you know what she died from? From worrying about the mental patients not being able to get their food. She became a mental patient.

I may be compelled to face danger but never fear it and while our soldiers can stand and fight I can stand and feed and nurse them.

I refuse to consign the whole male sex to the nursery. I insist on believing that some men are my equals.

By education most have been misled So they believe because they were bred. The priest continues where the nurse began And thus the child imposes on the man.
