One must beware of ministers who can do nothing without money and those who want to do everything with money.

He who receives money in trust to administer for the benefit of its owner and uses it either for his own interest or against the wishes of its rightful owner is a thief.

My mom was sarcastic about men. She would tell me Adam was the rough draft and Eve was the final product. She was a feminist minister an earth mom who wore a bra only on Sundays.

In a free society the state does not administer the affairs of men. It administers justice among men who conduct their own affairs.

Libertarians argue that no normal adult has the right to impose choices on other normal adults except in abnormal circumstances such as when one person finds another unconscious and administers medical assistance or calls an ambulance.

Whether it's possible or not being a doctor you take an oath. To care for your patient not to kill them. You take an oath to do things that are proper in the medical world. Not to administer something outside of a hospital setting that's not even your area.

Religious institutions should have religious freedom on this issue. No church or minister should ever have to conduct a marriage that is inconsistent with their religious beliefs. But I think as a civil institution this issue's time has come and we need to move forward.

I grew up in a Hindu household but went to a Roman Catholic school. I grew up with a mother who said 'I'll arrange a marriage for you at 18 ' but she also said that we could achieve anything we put our minds to an encourage us to dream of becoming prime minister or president.

I wish the government and the Minister of Justice would address these legal and constitutional arguments but they refuse to. They want Canadians to go blindly into their brave new world but it is not wise for a society to move blindly in any direction.

The law has no compassion. And justice is administered without compassion.
