I enjoy racing historic motorcars from the '50s and '60s. The seed of my interest was planted when I was about 12 years old and took over my mother's Morris Minor. I drove it around my father's farm. But my favorite car is still a McLaren F1 which I have had for 10 years.
I'm still that little girl who lisped and sat in the back of the car and threw vegetables at the back of her head when we drove home from the market. That never goes.
I had never been able to get a car that said how much I cared about the environment until I drove electric.
The preparation commitment and desire to win will be no less than the last time I drove a grand prix car in anger.
