It's such a long mission and we get to spend so much time in space... we're doing such exciting research. And I don't want to overemphasize the life science research but as a physician the life science research that we're doing is extremely exciting.

The most exciting thing in the twentieth century is science.

What's different here is that we have now technologies that allow these life science companies to bypass classical breeding. That's what makes it both powerful and exciting.

I can respect bad acting that owns its own style.

We are pre-disposed for fantasy there is a natural impulse for human beings to want to get off their heads or out of their heads in something in a substance or a drink or an idea or a religion which will comfort them and make life exciting.

But it's much more exciting to make Die Hard. One of the reasons that I think that movie is so successful is it deals with those very important blue-collar relationship themes. But it's more visually beautiful to show things blowing up. It just gives you more on the screen.

I mean you know I get a tremendous positive charge every day just from knowing these kids and who they are. I mean Larry my 12-year-old son is my hero in life. Could there be a greater privilege than that? I mean I can't imagine anything that would be more exciting.
